This weekend I had a chance to see some work by these two artists. A Long Time Ago I was able to watch Miranda July do a performance piece live in Seattle. The video piece I saw this weekend was ok but the sound system wasn't that good so I was straining to hear what people were saying the whole time. Kara Walker is so articulate and I often find myself swept up in her gruesome pieces.
